How to Use:
- Remove the test device from its packaging and allow it to reach room temperature (15-30°C) before use.
- Instruct the test subject not to eat, drink, or smoke for at least 10 minutes before the test.
- Have the individual collect a saliva sample by swabbing the inside of their mouth with the provided swab for approximately 1-2 minutes.
- Once the swab is saturated with saliva, insert it into the test device’s sample well.
- Wait for the colored lines to appear in the result window. This typically takes around 5 minutes.
- Read the results within the specified time frame outlined in the test instructions.
How to Read Results:
- Negative Result: Two colored lines appear in the result window. One line appears in the control region (C), indicating the test is working correctly, and another line appears in the test region (T), indicating the alcohol concentration is below the cutoff level.
- Positive Result: Only one colored line appears in the control region (C), indicating the test is working correctly. If no line appears in the test region (T), or the line is fainter than the control line, it indicates the alcohol concentration is above the cutoff level.
- Invalid Result: If no colored line appears in the control region (C), the test is considered invalid, and the test should be repeated with a new device.
Always refer to the specific instructions provided with the test kit for detailed guidance on usage and result interpretation.
