Including a few more drug panels than a regular 10 panel drug test with the added bonus as an alcohol test, the 14 panel drug test is a very convenient method to conduct drug+alcohol tests. This test can detect the presence of 14 different substances present in someone’s urine through the 14 panel drug test cup.
14 Panel Drug Tests
Currently we are offering two different variations of this cup with each being sensitive to a different type of drug.
What is great about both of these products is that they are able to be used anywhere. The testee simply needs to urinate into the cup and the test results will be shown within 5 minutes.
The 14 panel drug test is a great choice for tests that wish to determine both drug and alcohol consumption.
What is a 14 panel drug test
The 14 panel drug test consists of a simple cup that is sealed in a plastic bag. The cup contains sensitivity panels that will display bright control lines when they come in contact with a urine sample. A testee simply needs to urinate into the cup to get basic results, however, further testing may be required.
14 panel urine drug test
The 14 panel urine drug test will detect traces of illegal drugs through someone’s urine. After drug consumption, the chemicals present in the drugs will leave traces that can easily be identified through urine. The 14 panels present in the 14 panel urine drug test will be able to detect those traces and display certain lines when those traces are detected.
Does fentanyl show up in drug urine tests?
Yes, Fentanyl can be detected by both of our 14 panel drug test cups.
14 panel alcohol drug test
Yes, Alcohol can be detected by both of our 14 panel drug test cups.
How does the 14 Panel Drug test work?
The 14 panel drug test works by having the donor urinate into the testing cup. The inside of the cup is equipped with sensitive panels that will react to the urine sample. This contact with the liquid substance will cause the panel to react and, as a result, they will display control lines which will be visible on the inside of the cup. Depending on the number and the position of the lines displayed, the test may show negative, positive or invalid results.
What does a 14 panel drug screen test for?

How to use a 14 Panel Drug test?
Step by step guide to using the 14 Panel Drug Test Cup:
- The patient will remove the cup from the sealed pouch and proceed to use it as soon as possible
- The patient will urinate into the cup after which the cup should be screwed tightly. Once the cup has been screwed, the timer for the test will start
- The patient will hand over the cup to the medical expert where the date and the initials will be confirmed, as well as, cap tightness
- The peel-off label will be removed
- In 2-4 minutes after the peel has been removed the temperature label should change color to green, indicating a proper temperature 90 – 100°F (32 – 38°C)
- Results of the drug test will appear in the results area 5 minutes after the test has been performed. The results will be displayed in the shape of color bands in the results area section
- In case of positive test results, another method may be sent to a toxicology laboratory to re-confirm the positive test
14 panel drug test results explained
The 14 panel drug tests will give initial results using control lines laid out on the 18 panels adjacent to the cup. Just like most urine drug tests out there, the panels can potentially display two types of control lines: the “C” line and the “T” line. Depending on the number of lines that appear we can determine the results which go as follows:
- Positive – only the above “C” line appears
- Negative – both the “C” and the “T” line appear
- Invalid – only the “T” line appears or no line appears
In case of an invalid result, the patient may be required to retake the test.
Both positive and negative results of the 14 Panel Drug Test Cup should be viewable within 5 minutes, however, either result will be taken to a medical institution for further testing and re-confirmation. Positive results will take longer than that as they are tested several times to make sure it isn’t a false positive.
FAQ
Down below we will try to answer some questions that we get asked almost on a daily basis.
How to read a 14 panel drug test?
5 minutes after urination, the testee should direct their attention to the panels that will be visible on the outside of the cup. The panels will show one or more bright red lines (control lines) that will have a “C” and a “T” next to them. Positive results will only have the “C” control lines appear. Negative results will have both “C” and “T” lines appear. Invalid results will only show the “T” lines. 10 minutes after testing, the results should be disregarded.
