How It Works

The test uses a competitive lateral flow immunoassay to detect the presence of drugs and their metabolites in oral fluid.

When the drug concentration is below the cutoff level, both the Control (C) line and Test (T) line appear.

When the drug concentration is at or above the cutoff level, only the Control (C) line appears, indicating a preliminary positive result.

If the Control line does not appear, the test is considered invalid and should be repeated using a new device.

Results Interpretation

Negative

Two colored lines appear (Control and Test). Even a faint test line should be interpreted as a negative result.

Preliminary Positive

Only the Control line appears. The detected drug concentration exceeds the established cutoff.

Invalid

No Control line appears. The test should be discarded and repeated with a new device.
