Ensure the donor hasn’t eaten, drunk or smoked for 30 minutes.
Open & swab: Remove the cap and place the absorbent pad in the mouth.
Swab both cheeks and tongue, then hold the device under the tongue, keeping it horizontal.
Develop: When saliva can be seen on the strips, lay the device on a flat surface and start a timer.
Read: After 5Â minutes, read the control and test lines.
Do not interpret results after 10Â minutes.

One advantage that the oral swab drug test has over a regular urine drug test is that it’s much harder to submit a false sample and it’s less intrusive.
